The best-fit school may not have a famous name, but it might be the one that sees your potential and provides the environment where you’ll do your best work.
Real-World Perspective
Every student’s path looks different. Some colleges focus on inclusion and community engagement, while others emphasize research or athletics. For instance, a student interested in bilingual education might prioritize a university with a rigorous and culturally responsive program that goes beyond celebrating diversity to equip future educators with the knowledge and skills to support multilingual learners. Another student might prioritize hands-on lab work, or a strong engineering program with internship pipelines.
The key is to ask yourself:
