Module 4: Securing Recommendation Letters
Choose people who know your character, work ethic, and growth — not just your grades.
Teachers who have taught you in a class where you participated, asked questions, and improved over time.
School counselors, academic advisors, or coaches who have seen your leadership or teamwork.
Mentors from community programs, volunteer organizations, or church who can speak to your values, dedication, or service.
Tip: Colleges value honesty and insight more than titles. A meaningful letter from a teacher who truly knows you is stronger than one from a principal who barely does.
